Who your static ads talk to

On October 15, 2026, I read the 16 static ads Lenny's Pup Shop was running on Meta and sorted each one by who it talks to.

People who don't see the problem yet0
People who know the problem, not the fixes2
People comparing fixes2

None of them talks to people who don't see the problem yet.

Why it matters

Meta says the best lever to find the right audiences is now creative variety, not narrow targeting (Meta, April 2025). It also says ads that look too alike may be treated as one ad and shown to the same people (Meta, creative differentiation).

My take: the clearest way to make your ads different from each other is to also talk to the people they skip today.
